I pray that over the past year your life was filled with the blessings of the Lord. We thank God for answered prayers throughout the previous year. This is a year of transition for our nation. Even though we are approaching a time of uncertainty, we can have faith that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. I want to encourage everyone to watch, stand firm in the faith, and be bold and strong, as we observe the changes around us. Let us continue to pray for our nation, and that the hearts of men will be turned towards God in love; for it is the love of God that will overcome all fears concerning the state of America.

Let us pray for our Nation, government, leaders, and police force as they serve in our land. We ask for divine order, peace, and harmony in our neighborhoods, city, state, and around the world. We have witnessed how hatred and fear can cause people to react and hurt innocent people in the process. May the Lord have mercy on us and restore the love and peace that He desires for humanity.

We must remain prayerful and hopeful, and trust God that every need we have will be met in spite of what we may have heard in the media or from those around us. As people of faith, we must pray without ceasing for all things and everyone whom God puts on our hearts. There is power in prayer! According to the scripture in Mark 11:23, we believe we will have whatsoever we say, in the name of Jesus!

Remember, this fast is not a diet or ritual; it is a sacred time. It is a time of consecration and prayer.

Jesus Loves You,

Bishop Michael L. Scott Pastor

Power House of Praise Christian Fellowship Church 21 Day Consecration

This is a corporate fast for the Powerhouse of Praise Church. We invite everyone to join us as we pray for our nation. Our prayer is centered on love for God and one another.
Scriptural Basis for Fasting Daniel 10:2. When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. 3 All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed. (NLT)

Daniel 10:12 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. 13 But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. (NLT)

  • 1.Pray
  • 2. Study the Bible
  • 3. Plan and prepare your meals carefully.

Day 1: Read 2 Chronicles 7:12-14; Ephesians 3:8:14-20. Thank God for the grace He has given you to speak and pray the wisdom of God, and that this wisdom and power is revealed to the church concerning the principalities and powers in the heavenly places (Eph 3:10). Praise God, we can have boldness and access to the throne of God in confidence that when we pray God will hear us (Eph 3:12; 1John 5:14). Confess any sins that will hinder your prayers. Ask God to strengthen you with supernatural power to pray the will of God, and to walk in love and the wisdom of His Word. Being filled with the fullness of God, according to the power that works in you, ask, believe, and receive whatever you ask for in the mighty name of Jesus! Ask God to water you with His Word and refresh your soul throughout this fasting season.

Day 2: Read Mark 9:14-29; Ezra 8:21-23. During this season of fasting and prayer, believe God for the impossible! Ezra prayed and fasted for God to lead the children of Israel in the “right way”. He also prayed for protection over their little children and possessions. Whatever you desire from the Lord, pray about it now. There is nothing too difficult, big, or small for God to do. Remember, God knows what you have need of even before your ask (Matt 6:8); however, He desires that you ask Him as a child goes before a Father! He is our Abba Father!

Day 3: Read 1Timothy 2:1-4; Psalms 33:12; Proverbs 21:1-2. Pray that God will forgive America for its shortcomings and bless the nation! Pray for the men and women who are in positions of leadership and authority over our nation. Pray and intercede for the president, legislators, governors, mayors, city council, and the policemen/women. We pray that you will surround these people with workers who will provide godly counsel, and have a heart to do what is right in Your sight. We pray for wisdom, integrity, and sensitivity to the needs of the poor and innocent. We declare that the hearts of our leaders are in the mighty hand of the Lord, and they will be directed by Him in every decision. We declare that the gospel of Jesus Christ will flow to the four corners of our nation, so that other nations may know that Jesus is Lord over America, despite what they already believe. May God bless us to have a quiet and peaceable life, in Jesus’ name (1 Tim 2:2).

Day 4: Read Psalm 2; Ezekiel 22:30; Matthew 28:18-20. We intercede for the nations that they may know God’s love and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is King of the earth! We pray that the leaders of every nation will come to recognize Jesus as Lord and Savior of the world. We declare that all kings shall bow down before you and serve you. In the name of Jesus, we pray for the Continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, Australia, and their leaders. We ask for divine protection from any nation that does not desire to live an honest and peaceful life. Guard our nation against any acts of other nations that lead to deception and destruction.

Day 5: Read Psalm 56:1-11; Psalm 91. Pray for the nations and cities under persecution. It does not matter where it is coming from. Declare that God will bind up the hands of the evil one and all forms of terrorism. Pray for divine protection for those who are vulnerable to terrorism. We pray for those who are stationed on foreign soil and those who are traveling in territories faced with terrorism. Lord expose the works of the enemy. Have mercy and deliver your creation from hurt, harm, and danger. Dispatch the angels of the Lord to protect and guide people to safety. Thank the Lord for His love and divine protection!

Day 6: Read Psalm 122:6-9; Isaiah 49:15, 16. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Lord we know that you will not abandon your heritage. We thank you that you honor the covenant you made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. May those who love you prosper. We pray that peace will be within the walls of Jerusalem, and prosperity within their palaces! Draw them into oneness with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Day 7: Read Psalms 105. Give thanks to God for His mercy, power, and love for His people. Know that God is for you and will fight for you. Affirm that God is wonderful, mighty, marvelous, and gracious towards His people. Affirm that He is a just God in all His dealings with you -- be it finances, job situations, relationships, home, church, land, and your future. Though you are tested God will use your circumstances to increase your wisdom and that of others. What is meant for evil will work out for good (vv. 17-22). Miracles, signs, and wonders will be worked on your behalf, because you trust in God and desire to keep His commandments (v. 45). Praise the Lord!

Day 8: Read Proverbs 3; 4:7: John 15:7. According to Apostle Michael Price, “Your Days are Numbered,” 2017 is the year of “victorious living and walking with God” (p. 106). This is a great time to draw nearer to God by trusting him with all your heart and acknowledging Him in all your way so that he can direct your path. Pray for the grace to consistently call upon the name of the Lord concerning your circumstances. Pray for the will power to trust God concerning your giving so that you can walk in the land of plenty and overflow (vv. 9-11). Ask God to help you accept correction with grace and grow in the knowledge of His will and Word for your life. Tell God to help you abide in His Word as a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Pray Lord apart from me being connected to the true vine, I can do nothing in and of myself. Help me to bear spiritual fruit that brings glory and honor to your name. I have the assurance that if I abide in your love and keep your commandments that my joy will be made full and overflowing. I can ask for what I need and it will be done for me! May Christ permanently dwell in my heart. My desire is to be rooted deeply in love and found faithful in him.

Day 9: Read Proverbs 8:12-36; 2 Peter 1-8. Wisdom is the principle thing (Prov 4:7)! Wisdom cries out to you and understanding lifts her voice! Ask the Lord to fill you with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. Wisdom’s delight was with the sons or men (v.31) Decree that wisdom belongs to you according to the Word of God. Pray that God will make you sensitive to His voice and that you will keep His ways. Pray that the Lord will establish in you to diligently watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptations. As you read the Scripture, declare what it says over your circumstances – godly counsel, riches, honor, excellence, integrity -- in all your ways so that you will please the Lord and find favor from the Him (v. 35). Lord we do not take for granted the promises you have given us for life and godliness; however, we desire to partake of your divine nature by diligently seeking to grow in our faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, godliness, brotherly kindness and love.

Day 10: Read Matthew 10. Pray for boldness to witness! Lord bless me and your people with the power to witness like never before. Pour out your spirit that I may prophecy concerning the things of your Kingdom. Let your Kingdom come and your will be down on earth as it is heaven (Matt 6:10). Lord, go beyond Israel and touch the hearts of men and women everywhere! Take away any fear and make me a bold and unafraid to confess the name of Jesus everywhere I go. I speak to my family, friends, coworkers, and the people I encounter in my neighborhood and community. I want to be a vessel you can use, so let me decrease so that you can increase in my life. I hide myself in you. Let me find my life in you alone.

Day 11: Read Acts 10:34-48; 11:1-18. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on believers everywhere. Pray that people will have a hunger for God. Pray for revival of the church.

Day 12: Read 2 Peter 2; Romans 16:17-20; 1 John 2:20-23. Lord we thank you for the many benefits of technology and those who use technology to spread the good news of Jesus Christ; however, we know that there are many people who do not know you or your plan for mankind. Thank you for revealing to us your Word through the Holy Spirit (1 John 20-21). Protect believers everywhere from the deception of the enemy and imposters who may cause them to stray from your divine Word. Let us be excellent at what is good and innocent of all evil (Rom 10:19). Let the God of peace crush the works of Satan under His feet, in the name of Jesus!

Day 13: Read Psalms 101; Colossians 3:1-17. Although we are exposed to various lifestyle choices via technology, keep us in your perfect way. Lord, we recognize that we are in this world but not of this world. As we mediate on your Word, keep us from sinning against you. Let us not set anything that is wicked before our eyes nor be influenced by the evil around us. Let not the ways of this world cling to us. We declare that our life is hidden with Christ in God and that when Jesus comes we will be with Him in glory. Lord, change anything that is not like you, in Jesus’ name.

Day 14: Ephesians 6:18. This day has been set aside to pray in the spirit for all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all believers. Pray for all people who are on your heart and mind.

Day 15: Read Ezekiel 36:26-38. Lord refresh, renew and restore your people that they may worship you in the beauty of holiness. Pray for anything in your life and surroundings that needs to be restored – spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and socially. Ask God to do a new thing in your life and the lives of others.

Day 16: Read Ecclesiastes 2:17-26. Pray that God will help you to be a good steward over all he has allowed you to acquire through the wisdom, knowledge, and skills you have been blessed with. Lord help us to be mindful that all that we have you have provided for your glory. Be grateful to God for His goodness and allowing you to eat the fruit of the land.

Day 17: Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. Pray for your family and friends. Ask God to establish loyal friendships in your life. Ask God to remove fear, selfishness, and self-doubt that stand in the way of trusting relationships with others. Remove any negative influences. Help us to love one another and pray for our weaknesses and appreciate the strengths that individual bring to the relationship.

Day.18: Read 1 Peter 3:8-9, 4:7-11; Ephesians 4:2-6. Lord, help us to walk in perfect harmony and agreement in how we worship you and what we say according to your Word. Lord, remove any form of divisiveness because we know this is not of you. Holy Spirit teach us how to agree when there is truth according to your Word. Let us not insist on our own will and way, but trust God to show us His divine will. Birth forth the fruit of the spirit as we walk in the spirit. We denounce any form of evil for evil or insult for insult. We ask for more of your love and grace, which will cover a multitude of faults.

Day 19: 1 Thessalonians 5: Pray for endurance of believers everywhere. Thank God for appointing you to obtain an inheritance through Jesus Christ. Pray that God will strengthen you in the ministry He has called you to. Declare that you are sanctified in him, and that the peace of God rest upon you. Praise God for His faithfulness in keeping you until the day of Christ Jesus.

Day 20: Read 1 Chronicles 29:1-20. We still believe God for our own building. Pray that God will open the door to build a church that pleases Him. Pray for wisdom, favor, the location, and the resources to move forward on this project. Heavenly Father, we thank you for everyone who has sown into this ministry. We pray that what they have given towards Your purposes, will be returned to them 100 fold. We praise you that we are equipped to do ministry that will glorify your name, and pray that you will manifest the blessing of a place to worship you. Thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Day 21: Read Nehemiah 9. Reflect on God’s love, longsuffering, forgiveness, healing, and restoration towards His chosen people. Remember that the same God who acted on behalf of Israel will act on your behalf today (Heb. 13:8). Praise Him, worship Him, and expect the miraculous!
