A Heart Glorified

(To cause to be or seem more glorious or excellent than is actually the case)

HOW can that possibly happen?

John 3:16 "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." (NASB)

Located in the center of our very being, is our heart. Our Father in heaven desires to become our very center, where He desires to reign and have His very being. Yet, as we have established through my second blog writing, our hearts are deceitful above all things.

"The heart is deceitful above all things, And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? (Jeremiah 17:9 AMP)

Love can be expressed for another person or an object, but eventually will fall short or run out of returns. Example, such as loving M&M's, yet when they run out, and they will, you are left holding an empty bag, the source having run dry. But God, having a plan from the foundation of the world, that His creation, His living and breathing vessels, could receive through their hearts. The source of living waters that will never run dry, His Son Jesus Christ. So God was willing to give, yes, give, this free gift of salvation through His Son, to us. The pouring out of His heart, so that our desperately lost and sick hearts may be glorified unto Him. True (truth) gifts are from the heart, with no strings attached. You need only, receive, receive by faith, that He possess a perfect love that will forever feed you so that you never perish, but have everlasting life through Him.

As Jesus was found walking on the water in the midst of a raging storm, we hear Peter, a disciple of Jesus asks, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." (Matthew 14:9 NASB)

Where did Peter find himself at that moment? In the midst of a choice. Do I believe, trust, step out of the boat, or do I continue to look at the storm that is raging around me? If you truly loved someone, would you not throw them a life vest in such an hour. The life vest Jesus was carrying was within Him, in His heart, that not one should perish, but to have everlasting life. It was Peter's heart and his faith that were being tested. Our choice is to simply, choose, and then it is Jesus who gives us hearts glorified.

A Heart Glorified unto Him. For it is THROUGH His saving grace, and the power of the work He accomplished on the cross, that our hearts begin a phase of reconstruction. Yet the difference is based on Him now, our firm foundation, where the lies cannot stand against us any longer. In this revelation, our hearts catch fire for Him, for we have never experienced such a true and perfect and forgiving and satisfying love. The healing has begun, and true life begins to take root. As the roots are nourished through our attachment to the Vine, the truth begins setting us free from all that has bound us for so long. Peace becomes ours, for the battle belongs to the Lord.

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" (Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

"He said, "Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chronicles 20:15 NLT)

In this life long process, as we press, stay connected through

commitment (to make a solemn binding promise), we find we no longer hunger for the M&M's of life, for His presence is all sustaining, beyond all we ever hoped or thought to ask. So now we have made it to the stage of a heart glorified unto Him, where He has our full attention, where our prayer life is flourishing. Allow the glory of the Lord to surround you, live in you through the Holy Spirit as He brings revelation of everything He has for you, with no striving, only seeking.

Allow the fire of the Holy Spirit to burn brightly, a fire that cannot be quenched, a fire that burns for all things God. Let it have free reign within you. Give God all, not holding back the parts you think are too ugly or parts you think you can still control by yourself. Let the fire rage, spreading within, until it has nowhere else to be satisfied but in coming out through the spreading of the Good News to the lost. When you have let go, allowed God to work, it is so glorious that you have to go, tell. A heart glorified is a heart under the care of God's reconstruction, being made into a beauty that surpasses all our understanding. Receive His Resurrection, for He died for you, that you may recover all that was lost in your life!
